Single Round Magazine Plug for 3 Round magazine tubes (Remington V3, Versamax etc)
This plastic plug used in the magazine tube to take the place of one 3" shell. Effectively reducing a 3 shell capacity magazine tube (like found on the Remington V3, and VersaMax) down to 2 shells in-order to comply with federal migratory bird hunting regulations.
To use: For complete instructions Refer to your shotgun's user manual. In summary: The shot gun is placed on "safe" and confirmed unloaded. Then the metal and plastic caps at the end of the magazine tube is removed. The plug is slipped into the center of the magazine spring via the hole at the end of the magazine tube. Then the magazine caps are placed back on the 'on safe', unloaded shotgun.
How it works: It blocks up the last few inches of the magazine tube, only allowing two rounds to be placed into the magazine tube.
Only for use on shotguns with magazine tubes that have capacity of 3 - 3" or 3.5" shells. IE a 3 +1 gun is made a 2 +1 gun with this plug.
May come in a color other than pictured, like black, blue, grey/silver, etc.
