We'd rather see you convert to our sealed breech 209 system, but are willing to help with changing the main spring on the original Remington 700 ML/MLS system, or just tear down and deep clean a Ruger 77/50 if that is all you are willing to do (or can afford).
Purchase this service, and send us your entire bolt (or just a firing pin assembly) and we'll remove the old mainspring, clean the gunk that gets everywhere and re assemble with a brand new mainspring (or reuse the mainspring on the Ruger).

Get this service and get some piece of mind now (We can clean your bolt and put a new spring in the 700 ML/MLS, but we can't fix the flaws in the original system unless you decide to convert to our sealed breech 209 system).

We really think you should dump the original system and switch to our much more reliable & awesome sealed breech 209 system: if you have us convert your bolt to 209's we'll stand behind the system and our work.
