3D printed belt carry magazine holders
Simple Effective Inexpensive magazine holder that allow carrying of back up magazines on a belt
These bare bones inexpensive 3D printed magazine holders allow the carry of back up magazines as part of one's everyday carry set up. They come made specific for varying common available pistols, with two ways to attach to the belt. Available only in light grey. We make them functional & inexpensive... ie not pretty!
Currently available for 3 families of magazines (I plan on expanding this, and will update here as I do):
Springfield Armory, XD/XDM 9mm or 40cal magazines (probably take the HS2000 mags too)
Smith & Wesson, M&P Shield 9mm
Smith & Wesson, M&P Shield EZ 9mm
We offer to options: either as a solid closed loop (which requires the belt to be removed and the holder fed onto it as it's being fed around the waist and pant's belt loops, or as a clip on type. If you are hard on things, or demand longer, tougher use, we suggest you get the closed belt loop style.
These are simple 3D printed plastic. As such they are much more inexpensive than other sorts of mag holders (leather/kydex etc). However the clip style will eventually probably break as they are stressed from each flex at install/removal. Or from getting snagged on stuff. I'd expect they will last years, if this potential weakness is understood and they are not abused. We hope the fact that they are inexpensive makes them a viable option.
Both style loops are made for up to 2" wide belts max 1/4" thick.

We made these using magazines we have on hand. They have positive retention features, & don't require pushing any buttons to take the mag out. The positive retention is overcome with common hand strength to remove the magazine.
Note: the XD/XDM holder works with both XD and XDM magazines. Yes the two magazine types are different enough that the mags for one pistol won't work in the the other pistol, but they are similar enough we can make one mag holder that will function with both magazines... even 9mm or 40cal.
If you have another model/caliber from what we list above, we cannot be 100% that the holder will securely hold anything other than what we made it for (and have indicated by the drop down above). If you have an M&P shield in 40, I don't know if the M&P shield 9mm magazine has the same dimensions (i.e. the same family of magazines). Our S&W shield 9mm mag holder might work for the 40: I don't know. Same with the EZ 9, vs EX 380... I don't know.
As I get ahold of more mags I'll keep updating the options above. At the moment I don't have any Glock mags to try... but I'm working on that.
These are printed in light grey PETG. A tough, food safe plastic (similar to what everyday water bottles are made out of). Should take hot rides on the dashboard of a car just fine, but I wouldn't put a hot barrel or a cigarette on them. PETG tends to make strings and blobs on surface finishes, you may have to rub them off to use them or make them aesthetically pleasing.
