The early bird gets the worm, the early hunter gets the spot, and the early bolt gets fixed first!8/6/2024 Thanks for visiting the The Badger's Den (the blog for Badger Ridge). If an internet search brought you here looking for muzzleloader solutions, please stick with us: we have the solution to your Remington 700 ML/MLS and Ruger 77/50 woes. I update this blog frequently and what you are looking for is probably one or two clicks away. This blog is sorted categorically and chronologically. So you can find what you want by looking in the appropriate category, or if you know when it was published, you can use the time line. Or just keep scrolling down! If you are new to our site: YES WE STILL SERVICE AND CONVERT THESE OLD MUZZLE LOADERS YES WE OFFER SOLUTIONS TO YOUR VERSAMAX NOT GOING OFF RELIABLY YES WE OFFER SOLUTIONS FOR ORGANIZING YOUR GUN CABINET/SAFE/GUN ROOM Lately I've been getting a bunch of calls and contact forms asking similar questions. Perhaps its because we are doing things and supporting items that folks just can't get anywhere else, that they are skeptic that we are still selling and doing the things we do. If I'm paying to keep this website up and running, you better believe we are still open and servicing folks needs!
For this installment I'd like to run through this summer's most common Questions & Answers Q: Are you still open? A: YES WE ARE! Q: Can I please talk to a live person? A: Yes, just dial the phone number at the bottom of every page of this website: 989 795 2526, between the hours of 9AM to 8PM eastern. If we don't answer, follow the prompts to leave a message: we call folks back. Though lately our phone system has been less than 100% reliable. Please bear with us if you don't make it through on your first attempt. Q:Your website hasn't changed much, so I figured you went out of business, are you really open? A: Yes we are open? Our solutions are still the same great fixes for your woes! Why would you expect that to change or be constantly rebranded? We are in the simple effective solution business, not the constantly rebrand yourself business! BUY WITH CONFIDENCE! Q: Are your 209 kits for the Remington/Ruger still available? A: YES: if its in-stock on our new website you can buy it, today! If it's out of stock we are working to get it back in stock! Q: My hunting season is about to start, how long does it take to convert my bolt? A: Short answer is: We convert bolts in the order which they arrive. A bolt may sit on my bench 4-8 weeks before I can get to it. I try not to let them sit anywhere near that long, but I don't control when folks send me their bolt, and seems most wait until the fall to deal with these things. Thus a 4 week back log can build up fast, and that tends to be during hunting season. But again, I try to keep work from building up and get them done much faster than that. I hate to say it, but I was taught to remember the "7P's" were key to a successful operation: Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. So my best advice is don't wait, get it done now. Oh... and you can speed up the turn around time by using faster shipping methods: If you are in a hurry I'd upgrade my return shipping from (us to you) by purchasing Priority Flat Rate or Priority Express during the online check out process. Q: Why does your web-site list complete Remington 209 bolts and Remington 700 MLS bolt bodies with handles welded on, but they are seemingly forever out of stock, if you don't sell them? A: My brother is a great welder. He used to do all our welding work, but has turned off all his weekend and side gigs. I'm working to find someone with his talents that I can trust. I go slow and make sure I get it right, make something I can stand behind, or I'm not interested in doing it. I HOPE TO OFFER THESE AGAIN SOON! And I mean very Soon! (Stay tuned) Q: I have an Austin & Halleck 420/320. I see you were working on a sealed breech 209 system for it. There hasn't been much change to that webpage; what is the status? A: The Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF) is that its OBE (Overcome By Events)... or in other words I'm still working on it, but the original plan didn't work out, and it needs a lot more invested in developing it. At the moment, I'm not able to put much time or energy towards getting it to market because I'm working on a bunch of other things. (Plus I hunt/fish too, have a family, and there's only one of me). When I have something to share I'll update that webpage You may see a theme here: We are open, working to keep good products going out the door, & we update our webpages (even if we don't constantly rebrand stuff and upload new videos & images constantly).
